The Department of Pediatrics at the IU School of Medicine has attracted 42 percent more external research funding in fiscal 2009 than the year before. More than 250 grants and contracts brought in a record $47 million, up from $33 million in fiscal 2008.
The federal government's nearly $800 billion stimulus plan, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, is providing colleges and universities with increases in research funding. This site will report stimulus funding awarded to IU researchers.
